Scouts BSA Troop for Girls serving Poway, Rancho Bernardo, 4S, and Scripps Ranch
Troop 682 for Girls serves Poway, Rancho Bernardo, 4S, and Scripps Ranch based on the Scouts BSA program. Because we’re fun and varied, we are in the top of all troops 10% nationally and have twice the rate of Eagle scouts.
In preparation for our yearly fundraiser: Stamping envelopes and stapling flyers. Can’t wait to deliver 8500 in December.
Agua Caliente County Park
Camping at Agua Caliente County Park. We took a short hike in the morning, and spent some time in the pool in the afternoon. Sometimes it’s nice to just camp!
Congratulations to Gokul and Kyle, our newest Eagle Scouts
Troop, Please join me in congratulating Troop 682’s newest Eagle Scouts Gokul and Kyle. They each had their Eagle Board of Review tonight and became the 36th and 37th Scouts to earn the rank of Eagle in Troop 682. We are very proud of your hard work! Mr Dickson
Webelos Woods at Mataguay
Rancho Mesa District had Webelos Woods at Mataguay. We camped with about 10 other Troops, and showed over 150 Webelos Scouts how to whip and fuse a rope.
Justin’s Eagle project
Justin is building an entrance to one of the trails at Dos Picos County Park, along with a sign board for the rangers to post important information.
Abhinav’s Eagle Project
Abhinav had seven Scouts and several parents and siblings helping him to clean donated soccer equipment and get it ready for shipping to a school in India. He got the idea when he visited his parents’ home town there and saw how little the local children had.
