Memorial Day

“Memorial Day, a day of honor and a day of remembrance. This Memorial Day Troop 682 alongside many other troops from San Diego met at El Camino Cemetery to erect many flags at the headstones of our veterans. I, Thomas Crimmel, was asked by the Eagle Scouts in charge of the Valor Point flag raising ceremony to carry and raise the flag. Amid the silence of the overcast morning I followed two ranks of scouts who assisted in holding the flag while I attached and raised the flag quickly to full mast, and then slowly lowered to half-mast. To have such a responsibility was an honor that I will never regret nor forget. Thank you Veterans for your service to our country.”
