Hi Troop,

It’s a rainy day and I suspect a lot of you will be spending much of the day on line. Here are a couple ideas on how you can combine that with Scouting and meet some Scouts from around the world too!

First, check out www.ScoutingRadio.com. It is an Internet radio station that broadcasts about Scouting all over the world 24-7. Today they are talking about the Australian Jamboree. There are pictures of Scout troops from all over the world too.

Then check out www.ScoutLink.net. You can chat (with your parents’ permission) with Scouts from all over. They are also working on a Scouting Minecraft server (it’s not live yet, but the picture shows Steve in a Class A). And in October they sponsor JOTI Jamboree on the Internet.
