Kern River whitewater rafting

We left St. Bart’s on Saturday morning and drove to Frandy Park Campground in Kernville. We got some of the riverfront campsites with direct access to the river. How lucky can you be? On Sunday we headed over to Eagle Rafting where we meet our guides and dove into the full day rafting program.  We got two runs down the Kern River in the morning. Then we broke for a BBQ lunch. In the afternoon we had two more awesome runs. We spent the late afternoon relaxing by the river and then headed out for a pizza dinner at one of the local restaurants. The trip home took a bit longer than expected, when one of the cars had some trouble. Still… What a great trip we had!!!
